Candidate Privacy Notice

This notice explains how HHR Talent handles your personal data when you are, or wish to become, a candidate for the projects we staff. It supplements our general privacy policy, which covers this website.

Who we are

HHR Talent is responsible for the personal data described in this notice. For anything related to your data, write to info@hhrtalent.com.

What we collect

Your CV or resume, contact details, work history, skills and portfolio links, notes from our conversations and interviews, and the outcomes of any assessments we carry out with you. We collect this directly from you, and from professional profiles you have made publicly available.

Why we use it

For one purpose: matching you with projects. That covers assessing fit, presenting you to a client whose project matches your profile, and keeping in touch with you about opportunities. Our legal grounds under the GDPR are the steps taken at your request before entering an engagement (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in operating a talent business (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

Two categories of recipients, and no others: client companies whose specific project we are matching you to — never speculatively, and never without your knowledge — and the service providers that operate our email and hosting. We do not sell candidate data and we do not share it for marketing.

Voice recordings

Some engagements involve recording your voice, for example where your work contributes to training AI systems. We do this only on the basis of your separate, explicit consent, documented in writing before any recording takes place, and governed in detail by your individual contract. You can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.

How long we keep it

For a maximum of twelve months from our last exchange, after which it is deleted. We delete it earlier on request, at any time.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, the transfer is covered by European Commission-approved safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to the data we hold about you, and for its correction, deletion, or restriction; to object to its processing; to receive it in a portable format; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. Email info@hhrtalent.com to exercise any of these rights — we act on such requests without undue delay. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
